What We Collect

When you use TashiOS, we collect only the information necessary to provide our service:

Account info: Email address and name you provide at signup
Payment info: Processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details
Usage data: AI request counts, token usage, and cost tracking for your budget dashboard
Server metadata: IP address, hostname, and version of your TashiOS instance for support and updates

What We Don't Collect

We do not read, store, or access the content of your AI conversations
We do not access files on your VPS
We do not track your browsing activity
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising

Your VPS, Your Data

Each TashiOS customer gets their own dedicated VPS. Your code, files, conversations, and projects live on your server — not ours. We don't have access to your VPS data. The only connection between your server and ours is:

License validation (checks your license key is active)
AI proxy requests (routes AI calls through our API for budget tracking)
Software updates (your server pulls updates from our release server)

AI Usage

When you use AI features through TashiOS proxy mode, your prompts are sent to the AI provider (Anthropic/Claude) via our API. We log token counts and costs for your budget tracking but do not store the content of your messages or AI responses.

Cookies & Sessions

We use session cookies for authentication on the customer portal (my.tashios.com). No tracking cookies, no analytics cookies, no third-party cookies.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your subscription is active. Usage statistics are kept for 90 days. If you cancel, we delete your data within 30 days of subscription end, except where legally required to retain it.

Security

All connections use TLS/HTTPS encryption. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. API keys are stored encrypted. We follow industry standard security practices and regularly audit our infrastructure.

Your Rights

You can:

Request a copy of your data at any time
Request deletion of your account and data
Export your data from your VPS at any time (it's your server)
